Web stories work as a page in their own right. Social media posts have a very short lifespan and can only be found on that network. Web stories appear on search engines and can be found anywhere on the web. It is indexable content that might play a leading role in SEO. Web-stories is part of AMP technology.
To work with web-stories, you need to have the following skills and experience:

  • UX mobile skills
  • AMP and video editing skills
  • Experience in typography, iconography and visual hierarchy
  • Motion design and animation experience

I believe I have them all.

Video

My skills related to video production are:

  • Filming and editing
  • Compressing and encoding
  • Creating video titles and meta description content.

I use a variety of tools, from my experiences in graphic design to online and offline video editors. My main video editor is Sony Vegas Pro.
I rate my level as average, since I am not a professional video editor.

Web Development

My professional experience includes:

  • Building and managing websites using WordPress, Hugo, Jekyll
  • Creating and designing landing pages with AMP features
  • Applying natural, unobtrusive animation effects
  • Taking care of image and video responsivenesss.

SEO

One of the key aspects of my SEO approach is AMP solutions. They maximize SEO and make web pages highly visible on Google.

About

I design, code & create media. My main focus is web-stories.

It so happened that I worked in video production for a while and this experience gave me a perspective on how video can affect SEO and be used as a storytelling tool. After that experience, I decided to go back to web development and I chose to specialize on AMP technology and web-stories.
Web-stories involve coding, design, and content creation - just what I love and qualified to do.

  • My main skills are all around video content creation, graphic design, UX and front-end technologies.
    It can be tempting to open up Photoshop and design exactly what you want, but it doesn’t translate well between devices, and search engines may penalize you.
    Documenting web-design best practices, and figuring out interesting ways to replicate them digitally is something I am passionate about.
